Reflective questions
When planning communication for a just sustainability transition, how do the specific context, power relations, and overlapping identities of your target audience(s) shape what can be communicated, how it is received, and whose voices are heard or marginalised? Reflect on the assumptions and unconscious biases you may bring into this process, how your audience’s identities, emotions, values, and sense of belonging influence relevance and trust, and how your choices of language, imagery, and design can either reinforce distance or build culturally aware, respectful, and meaningful engagement.
