Deliverable 4.5: Imaginations of community-led just sustainability transitions: Curated visualisations of the results of the Regional Futures Literacy Labs (RFLLs)

This deliverable (D) 4.5 documents the design and implementation of the DUST exhibition, which is part of the DUST dissemination strategy. The deliverable presents a selection of illustrations, technical drawings, and key planning aspects prepared during the Regional Futures Literacy Labs (RFLLs). Specifically, it describes how the DUST regional designs (D4.2), together with related DUST handbooks and visual material, were curated to be part of a series of public exhibitions. The regional designs and the exhibition design were conceived by the DUST art directors OOZE in collaboration with the team at TU Delft.
The exhibition was purposefully designed to travel and to be adaptable to diverse locations across the DUST case study regions and beyond. For this, two exhibition formats were developed: (1) self-standing elements that can be flexibly composed to form intimate spaces and enable small discussion forums, or (2) long hanging flags to be displayed in large open spaces. The DUST exhibition serves as a significant medium of interaction with diverse audiences: the least-engaged communities (LECs) in case study regions, policymakers, civil society organisations, academic audience, and the wider public. It aims to share knowledge developed in the project and prompt reflection and deliberation. The materials presented convey LECs’ perspectives to the larger public, in wider policy contexts, across European regions.
